Driving Licence:
A FULL driving licence MUST have been held for at least 12 months and must be produced at time of rental. Holders of the new style of two part British licenses MUST produce BOTH parts, photo card and counterpart.
Age:
Drivers should be aged between 22 - 75 years of age with at least 1 year experience under a full licence and no more than 2 current minor endorsements or 6 penalty points.

Extension of Rental:
In most cases this is available, provided that our renting office is informed prior to expiry of the agreed rental period (as shown on the rental agreement) and the additional deposit is paid, so that insurance cover may be extended. Failure to do so may mean that you continue driving without the necessary insurance cover.

Insurance:
All cars are comprehensive covered. The renter is responsible for the first £500 of any loss or damage to the vehicle; this can be reduced to £150 for a further daily fee of £3.00 or £18 per week.

Wheels and Tyres:
The hirer is responsible for the full cost of punctures, damage to wheels, wheel trims and tyres and any lost or damaged keys.

Rates:
All rates include Roadside Assistance and Relay, but exclude petrol. Prices excluded VAT.

Payment:
The estimated cost of hire is required at time of hire, Barclay, Visa Cards and American Express are accepted.

Availability:
The booking is made on the understanding that the vehicle will be placed at your disposal on the date stated. Should this not be possible, through circumstances beyond our control, we will provide, a substitute vehicle, where possible, or a full refund of monies.

Mainland:
No car may be taken outside the island and onto Skye, or Mainland Scotland, however Uist and Barra are acceptable. Please ask for full information.

Fuel:
Tanks are supplied on an empty basis. No credit will be given on unused fuel.

Cancellations:
To cancel a booking we must be given 24 hours notice or a charge of 25% of the total cost of the hire will be debited from the registered credit card. NO Charge will be incurred if more than 24 hours notice is given. If a hirer fails to turn up then the total cost of the hire will be debited from their credit card.
